Timing and Results
How is the race timed?
All participants in the race will receive a timing chip attached to the race bib. As you cross the electronic mats at the start and finish lines, the timing tag emits a unique signal that allows the system to identify you and calculate your finish time. You must be wearing your timing chip on your bib number to receive a race time. Results will be posted on the Abilene Runner’s Club Website (www.abilenerunners.com).
Where can I pick up my race packet?
We encourage all participants to help us start the race on time by picking up their race packets on December 31st at the Redbud Park YMCA during operating hours. Race packets will also be available on Race Day beginning at 8:00 AM.
Where is the best place to park?
There will be limited parking in the YMCA parking lot on the day of the event. The best place to park is the lot off of South 32nd, adjacent to Madison Middle School. To ensure the safest race, please avoid parking on the roads inside the park.
