Dash 4 Dignity 5K Run and Freedom Walk at Heritage is an annual charity event held in Severn, Maryland, to raise awareness of human trafficking and human exploitation in Maryland, DC and Virginia. The 5th annual Dash 4 Dignity will be held on Saturday, April 28th 2018. Events include a 5K Dash, 1K Freedom Walk, and a community resource fair.
Dash 4 Dignity works in our community to put an end to modern-day slavery. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children along with other state and local organizations will be on hand to provide information about ways to keep people, especially children and youth, safe as well as how to recognize and report signs of exploitation. Proceeds from this year's event will be donated to organizations including National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and Drink at the Well, a local outreach in Curtis Bay, Maryland.
